Our Organization

Our Organizatoin

Mera Parivar is a Non-Profit, Charitable NGO (registered under FCRA Act of Ministry of Home Affairs). Companies donating to Mera Parivar (under their CSR commitments) can benefit from Income Tax Exemption.

Created in 2006 , we assist since 10 years the disadvantaged community (children, youth, women) in Gurgaon.

We have been working for the last 17 years in the Delhi NCR with providing some innovative interventions to deep-rooted problems. Our organisation strives to eliminate hunger and aims at countering malnutrition and supporting the right to education for socio-economically disadvantaged children. We attempt to nourish and motivate children to pursue education for a bright future. As education has been the source of emancipation, we provide quality education with dynamic interventions to address the gap in the education system.

Our Food Distribution programme caters to more than 1,50,000 meals per month, throughout Delhi NCR we distribute fresh fruits, vegetables, food grains and other edibles to approximately 80,000 people per month. Mera Parivar is a partner under the FSSAI initiative to collect surplus food and avoid its wastage. We have collaborated with Amazon to reuse surplus food by distributing it to the socio-economically disadvantaged sections of society.

We also received recognization and appreciation from the Union Ministry of Home Affairs for our work during the pandemic.

We not just feed the stomach but provide food for the brain, which is education.
