Transforming stories : Samundri

Thirty–five–year–old  Samundri, her husband and four of   her children came all the way from Bihar to Rajiv Nagar, Gurgaon with a hope to get better livelihood. Her husband, MrLalBabu is an auto driver and earns only Rs 6000 per month. With such a meager income, private english medium school is a far cry for their children. Dream of brighter side of life lingers in her mind, so Sumandri looked hither and thither to find means to supplement their family income. It was real hard in her new world, but as fortune favors her, she came to know about the training center at Mera Parivar through her sister–in–low. She got enrolled in the sewing stream. A ray of hope shines in her mind. Despite the vigorous training, she has been going to the training center and becomes an ardent learner. She is regular and maintains a good standard of punctuality. She is looking forwards to opening her own tailor shop.
